6-5-25   THOUGHTS

Some passage areas need our attention continually. We consider one of those this morning. This describes me as I want to be.  This is US as we should be!  Short and concise,  it’s an upward call for a mind and heart set on things above (where Christ and God are).  Key words are DIED, RAISED and HIDDEN!  They describe US... NOW!  CHRIST IS OUR LIFE... presently!  Our promise follows the word “then” in verse 4.  It’s a compact reading,  needed over and over as a reminder of the big picture of Eternity!   I must adjust my life, and RETURN to this CENTER, over and over... until its all over!

Col 3:1-4    Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2  Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3  For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4  When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
             
My Prayer:
Father, we have been bought with a price, help glorify You and Christ always.  Keep our minds and hearts aimed upward, that Christ may always be our lives.  Teach us, O Father, to die to self and live to Jesus.  May we learn that true love does not have self as its focus.  Being Yours Father, we seek our promised revealing.   We praise and thank You, O God, Who has made these things to be so.   In the name of Jesus,   Amen.
